Got this truck last fall with the lift/wheels/tires already on. Have since ditched the Edge Juice for EFILive from Idaho Rob with an Insight CTS, added an AD150, and just did the rocker panels and had the front and rear color matched.

Waiting to install a 7" black mitre stack, black NNBS 2500HD badges, rear wheel spacers, black cab lights, and need to get my front glass tinted.

Any other suggestions/ideas are welcome!!

Also going to spray the frame/axles black again, but weather needs to warm up.

So far so good. They did okay in the snow, not the best I've ever ran but adequate. Noise isn't bad at all and they handle good and smooth.

My one complaint is that a while back I started having this noise from my friend end which I thought was a wheel bearing I had just replaced taking a crap again, so I replaced it with a warranty'd one. Noise was still there. Then a buddy just happened to notice that one of my front tires had uneven wear on it. Some of the lugs right down the middle of the tire were ever so slightly lower than the rest. Not a solid strip down the middle, but just certain ones all the way around. We put that tire on the rear and the sound moved back there. I think it was just a weird anomoly in the rubber. The other 3 are fine.

Once said tire was moved to the rear, a 12pk persuaded me to level off the tread...:driving:

so i will move my business over to this one haha, yeah i really like that tread pattern too

and yes the stack will make the badges somewhat meaningless because if they don't get a clue by then they never will. :roflmao:

Looks bad ass man! The only thing I would change is pull the 4x4 stickers off. I pulled them off mine and it really cleans it up.

Beautiful truck! Everyone in my family has a victory red truck to match our work fleet. Sort of hoping something happens to mine so I can get it repainted this color lol

Veryyy prettyyy truck! I wanted victory red so bad when I was looking for my next duramax but unfortunitly price, milage, and condition play a part when buying a used truck so I settled for what I got!

Thanks guys!

Yeah i have thought about pulling off the 4x4 stickers almost every day, but I just cant decide. Also thought about replacing them with black ones instead.

Think the paint would be OK underneath the stickers, since the truck is 10 years old?? What is the best method to remove them if i did decide to, I've done plenty of badges but never stickers off of paint.

Mines an 03 and I pulled them off last year. You can see where they were in the right light, but I'm pretty sure it'll buff out. I just stuck mine in the sun and got it nice and warm and peeled them off with my fingernail.

Nice looking truck:thumb:
If you haven't pulled off the 4x4 yet a heat gun is the easy way to take them. Just make sure you dont have the heat gun pointed at the bumper once you start pilling the sticker off.
