I never knew this but apparently there is psi ratings on valve stems.
when i bought the Mich. ltx for the van from discount tire direct, i took them to my friends shop to mount and balance. they replaced the valve stems with the same kind that the factory had on the van. they were only rated for 65psi.
i took the van in for rotation & rebalance and they said what you keep 'em at 80, we need to change them out!
so gm put the 65 psi valve stems in if anyone else runs 80 psi.
oh I did scrubb all the rubber off the back fender before i took it in.
