I am beginning to catalog dimensions on a new build. I should have my valve face depth from the machine shop this week, but for now lets say .028" minimum. Protrusion at .015" and will be running "C" head gaskets. What would be the maximum cam lift that can be run with Mahle cast (race) pistons; assuming they are .075" deep. I know duration and installed centerline will play into this as well but just for a ballpark range. I plan on getting a larger degree wheel and dial indicator when installing the cam.
