Wanted to get some info from you guys. Looks like my 05 lly threw a rod or broke the crank. All started with an injector issue and then low oil pressure. Now it won't start but I was told no compression. What would be the value of this truck? I don't have time to part it out. 2005 lly 2wd extra cab. 220,000 miles. Everything worked on it but it was the basic model with crank windows and vinyl seats. Body is ok but the bed is a little rough. Dsp 5 efi live by Ppei. 3" downpipe and brand new mbrp 5" exhaust, sinister egr delete with lbz mouthpiece. Transmission is good and so is rear end. Only issue is the engine. I just changed both trans filters and fluid a month before it took a dump. Thanks for the help

Where are you located. Might be worth just throwing a core in it and keep driving. There is an LBZ block for sale (north dakota). Just swap heads and continue.

Are you talking about the motor with a cracked piston? If so I'd say there's a lot more to it then just tossing it in there.

I'd say as it sits the truck is probably worth 3k-4k.
