EFILive V2 Stuck In Dead Poll

A friend just bought a brand new V2 and laptop to run EFI on, and he is not the best on the computer and I am not either, so we both decided to tackle it tonight, so I instantly knew his software was out of date so I deleted and updated 7.5 and 8.2, and basically all was well, went to update the firmware and boot block, and the firmware showed nothing and said none were applicable. So I just assumed I needed to update both, I tried and nothing happened. It did show a boot block but now shows none and is stuck in dead poll. Is it bricked? It is brand spanking new. In EFI Explorer it doesn't show the refresh button or any bootblock. What gives.

I wanna say mine just did the exact same thing when I got a new v2 and updated it thru EFIs program. Do you have a pin you have to put in, in order to get the V2 to the main screen?

Ya this was brand new from EFI, and nope i tried to reprogram the V2 with firmware but it doesnt even read on the computer anymore.

Sounds like a small glitche somewhere. I'm not super fimilar with the EFI software and what not yet so hopefully somebody that knows there stuff will chime in here and help ya out!

so confusing, I plugged it in did the exact same stuff as last night and away it went, since I got it I talked quietly thanking the chinese guy inside that woke up and got it working :roflmao:
