(USPS)They somehow lost my efi live cable. WTF. Like usual I didn't insure it for near enough money, but atleast I found my tracking number. :dancenana:

Anyway, I shipped it on November 25 and it still hasn't made it to SoCal yet. I keep waiting for SoCal to call me. Saying, ":mail:"




Anyway just wondering how many of you lost things in the mail?

I like my UPS man but he won't pickup packages, and USPS was easy ....... Anyway, what do you guys prefer to use for shipping?

Never had a problem with the Post office, I use it for the convenience factor being a 1/2 mile up the street.

Have a daily UPS pickup and we send out 20-30 pacakges a day..... havent had one lost yet but Ive had an issue or two with personal shipments a few years back. We just reworked our international shipping from our manufacturers in Korea and got 60% off published rates with FedEx so we are using them for international shipping. 2 days from Korea is nice! USPS Priority has gotten super expensive lately

I only use USPS to ship stuff to Cananda. Last year when I shipped Dale's EFILive to him in Alberta and it ended up in Saskatchewan. The insurance was useless in this case. If the gentleman and Saskatchewan wouldn't have been honest I think we would of have been SOL.

I had a box of really nice knife sharpeners (that i can find again) that thoes mo-fo's lost for me And the same package had some more of my things in it that I'll never see again. Never used them again! I usually use FedEx somtimes UPS but FedEx has been cheaper and more reliable for me

Only thing I dont like about Priority Mail is the tracking numbers are next to useless UNTIL the package is delivered.

I was waiting on a S4 kit from Suncoast last week....just got a call yesterday. The package left Florida, got shipped, at some point apparently I refused delivery on it, even though I never saw it....and it ended back at Suncoast's door step....UPS to Canada pisses me off.:rofl:

I need some paper work from him, apparently they need proof that what I sent was worth what I said it was worth. IDK wtf it matters. I insured it for X dollars. If I thought a damn 4"x4"x4" box was worth $100K they should be able to get the SOB to California in a month.

I hate UPS.
I would rather ship FedEx or DHL. Especially internationally.
I sent a package to Lennart in Germany using Deutsch Post which is the German DHL IIRC. It was an ugly ugly box with a Dual Fueler hard line in it and it made it no problem.
