Question: Using EFI with the 6 gun ?

so,

I'm thinking of taking the stock lbz truck tune, lowering boost at the highway cruising range, and running that slightly modified stock tune with the 6gun on level 6 on the highway.

Why?
Because, so far I've seen my best economy on the eway with the banks at level 6. But I've also seen good numbers with an efi tune running 1 psi of boost at 70mph.
With the Banks on 6 on the highway it seems like its not changing boost levels from stock.

Trying not to blow anything up, saving that for the van

Level 6 seems high to me... but on my LLY level 6 in conjunction with EFI was alot of power.... Towing with a mostly stock tune i never went above level 4 - but i was lugging around 20k behind the truck so....

One thing i never really did was LOG the different Banks levels while stock tune was in. be interesting to see whats going on with level 6 and replicate it in tuning to get that mileage all the time...

ok,

i took a stock tune and changed desired boost
and targeted vane position.

Loaded that back in and plugged the 6 gun back in.

I hooked up to a 7000 lb trailer in Goshen In to bring back home.

It looks as if the 6 gun does not change desired boost levels, at least on level 2.

The boost levels I put in with efi were the same on level 1 (stock) and level 2 (tow)

they stayed right where i wanted in the highway cruising range.

this could get interesting.

who wants to place bets on how long it will be before I start breaking stuff?
