using DVT

i want to use the DVT to lock the tranny in 2nd for a up coming pull,track is going to be 260ft last year the track was 240ft

we shifted 1st to 2nd really hurt us,so i was thinkin about using the DVT to get a 2nd gear start kinda thing,will this work? i dont want it to shift out of 2nd also... and i dont want the converter to lock untill 2100 i think all this can be done with the DVT

and if i use the DVT do we put the shifter in 1st 2nd 3rd or what? i have never used it befor.

or can some one help me out with a 2nd gear start tune for pulling thanks

i have tryed to make one,but i can never get it to work the way i want it to for some reason.
dont have it with me right now. . .im at work lol

well when you find it let me know and can whip you up on quick or you can do it yourself its quite easy.

have you thought of the toll on your converter though?

yeah i know its a bitch,and it dont really like it,but hey it is a ats and its a pulling truck so if it goes it goes lol parts will break and give up.
