Can you do anything to used motor oil so it will burn in a duramax?

Yes. Pour it in the tank. I do it all the time (8 years). I use 1 gal to every tank full (34gal). I put it through my aux tank first though and it's pumped through a filter (CAT 2mic) before it goes into my tank. It lubes the cp3 and injectors. There little motors too. Don't use synthetics though. They will burn , but you get a lot of white smoke too.
Just make sure you filter it really well before you put it in the tank.I run half and half per tank in my army truck (86 chevy M1028) Transmittion fluid works better IMHO, But only during the summer. She doesn't like to start when its super cold with WMO/Trans fluid in the tank. Good to know I can do the same with the Dmax!!!
