used edge juice question

hello everyone!!

i have an opportunity of acquiring an Edge juice Ejc1000, im not buying it but trading it for a 95g diesel ext tank, so here is my question is there something i should look or check, i just dont want to end up with a non working programer.

i know efi live is the way to go but i just dont have the cash right now for it.

all you have to do is plug it in under the hood set the tune you want to try and take it down the road you will notice if its working.does it have the attitude moniter? if so you can scroll threw the setting to see if the gauges are working or you could sneak it under the end of the hood and put the wire under the windshelid wiper just to see if its working or not
