Upgrading LMM Bose system

I'm looking at upgrading the audio in my LMM, and have decided to do a new head unit, new speakers all around, and also would like to possibly do a 10" or 12" under the back seat, or else replace the factory bose under the console.

After doing some research, I'm leaning towards the Pioneer avic-6200nex for navigation and Bluetooth functionality, and utilizing the PAC RP5-GM31 to keep steering wheel controls. My plan is to also add a rear camera.

Seeing if anyone had any experience with this head unit or installation pointers, as well as looking for recommendations for speakers (thinking component front, coax rears) and amp and sub. Should I look at a 5 channel amp and run everything through it?

Thanks in advance for any input

I have a similar head unit with 2 10's, speakers, and a five channel amp and ive never heard anything as clear and crisp as my setup.
So i would run that head unit and a five channel amp if it were me.:thumb:

Right on, I did see where a guy who does professional installs highly recommended the avic nex series.

What speakers are you running?

DD audio makes great speakers.

A lot of Harley guys run them in aftermarket bagger audio setups. Solid audio equipment.

Thanks for the suggestion, definitely something I'll look into.

I did order the Pioneer avic-6200nex, now I just need to decide what route to go in terms of speakers, amp, etc
