Pic is the 18" spike they removed from my leg, then they installed a whole new hip joint assy in my right leg.
Should be ready to track test in late January.
Seriously, I wrecked a bike in '79 and that leg has been trouble ever since. Finally, it had come to a point where I had to choose between a wheelchair and surgery.
Surgery was 2 days before Christmas, I was walking the same day, and was released Christmas Eve. So far everything is going better than expected.
I haven't been on the computer much lately as it is difficult to sit. Standing and walking is now pain-free, it's just sitting that I must keep to a minimum.
