At one fell swoop, I changed my power steering pump, cooling fan and alternator. My alternator I went from a 105 amp to a 145 amp from O'Reillys. Put everything back together and the truck will not start, won't even try to start; I did charge the batteries. I do have interior power and exterior lights do work. I can hear a very slight clicking noise from the engine area. The dash does have some gauge lights but dims and flickers.
2003 Chevrolet Silverado K3500 Duramax/Allison; stock. Any suggestions???

What's the battery voltage?? Sounds like you got dead batteries right off the shelf. What is the date code on the batteries?

Batteries are good and charged. The truck started and ran fine prior to my handy work.

Check all your grounds. Make sure all your connections are good at battery's. I had a recent problem on a truck and it was a loose connection. Sometimes just doing what you did will move a previously loose connection just enough to where it won't start.

Thanks for your help. It was corrosion built up on the battery terminals. Cleaned them up good, put some protectant on them, re-installed and she fired right up.:thumb:
