Pulled valve covers. No loose return lines. Pickin up tool to pull vacuum on each injector today. I'll post the findings later this afternoon. Maybe this can help someone later.:)

Man I read your other thread and JUST had one do this after having injectors out for head gasket replacement. It'd just randomly fill the crankcase with oil then would be fine for a few hundred miles. I had the covers on and off three times, replaced the return line seals and drove/ran it for hours trying to pin point the issue and it seems as though it fixed itself after this last time putting it back together. I still have no clue what was causing it. The customer was out of money and was trying to put it on me so I for damn sure wasn't buying a whole set for him lol. How quick is it putting fuel in the oil?? If you want to cap the suspected bad injector, I have some rail fitting caps you could use. I just never could get the truck to act up while in my possession and i was in a spot to work on it. I used fuel dye even and while it did put some in the oil at first before I could get the covers off,, it quit leaking and starting holding rail pressure once i could get to it to work on it.

I'll add that had i been able to go back, I would have waited till i got the covers off to add the dye to the fuel. Once that shit was in the oil it was pretty tough to see where it was coming and going from. I must have used 4 cans of brake cleaner spraying each injector and watching for signs of a leak lol.

Damn that sucks bro. Glad to hear it stopped leakin. Not sure how fast its fillin up, just found it. This thing had 2.5 gal of fuel in it! I know this isn't as common after the injectors have been replaced, but can still happen. If vacuum test doesn't show anything, I don't have a clue lol. I'll let ya know.

Were they the original injectors or the new style?..... Well ran the test and found #6 didn't hold a vacuum. But when double checkin it, it did hold? Wth? I happened to have an injector at the house so we're swappin to see if this was the problem. Probably be a couple of days before its finished but I'll post results when done.
