it took a 3/8's 16 ... ALL of the threads on the PPE pedestal were completely messed up. Not sure why a metric bolt took a standard thread?

Not to add fuel to the fire but I had to tap everyone of my holes on my PPE pedestal. My threads were metric though.

That's really weird mine took a standard tap... We tried the 10 x 1.5 and it wouldn't fit into the predrilled hole. I have already screwed in the factory bolts and they fit just fine? weird.

Ok I checked out the bolts they are 10MM X 1.5 pitch. On the 3/8 x 16 the 3/8 is too small but the 16 pitch is very close to a 1.50 pitch.

Dan the pedistal I'm sendind in that I have been meaning to had the samething. We had to run tap thru each thread but think one was missed. When you look in the threads it looks like little balls a weld laying on the thread area. This is were I had the one bolt break off when we removed the gt42. It will be on it's way to you this week along with my pump I will call you tommorrow.

Make sure and grind the unthreaded nub off the end of the factory bolts too. It hits the inside of the pedestal and stacks the threads. Atleast it does with me:(. Blackie with the PPE and Jewell and Jerry with stock pedestals. dont know if its because we put on headers or not but its a simple preventative measure.
