Ok guys I need some input on what direction I should go for my intended use. Also have a few questions. 06 lbz basic mods efi live, whetzle wheel, down pipe, lml manifold, egr delete, 5" exhaust, fass150, ect. Eventually may go with lb7 pistons but wanna keep it reliable at 600ish hp. I really want twins but don't know if it's the right choice. Going to get my Trans built and 30% overs installed soon and like to do it all at once.

Basic intended use is daily driving, up to 13k pound fifth wheel occasionally and beating up on dodges periodically.

How much can the stock turbo support?

Would single or twins be best for intended use?

If single, which one?

Are 30s enough for either?

I know single stock replacement is less clutter, easier and cheaper but more lag and that may be an issue with towing and dd. Twins are more expensive but less lag.

Thanks in advance

Twins, stock and 75 or 80 atmosphere charger... If you daily drive and tow somewhat heavy you can't hardly beat that setup.

40% would be the smallest I would go if your doing injectors...

Twins are nice. But if you are wanting to save the engine bay clutter I would check in to danville's 3794 turbo. From what I have seen people are really loving that turbo

Stock turbo should hold around 500rwhp, mine dynoed 530hp on the stock charger.

If your going to do injectors I would look at Exergy 60% over, they were the best cost vs % when I did mine, then at least that would give you some more room to go with a bigger charger down the road if you wanted to. Plus having the bigger injectors allows you to run more conservative tunes (less PW, timing ect.)

I would NEVER say someone with a stock engine will be "fine" at 600hp. Too damn many variables to generalize like that...good tuning or not.

I'd like to go head studs and lb7 pistons but don't know if I'll have the funds to swing that. Still haven't gotten the price estimate on labor for the piston install.

Anything can happen. The 68mm and stock fuel will get u to 600hp. If your spending the money on injectors I'd go 100% personally. They can be tuned down and will give you room to grow.
