I want some of what Dmitri is smoking! Please tell me this was a misquote on the part of Diesel Power Mag.

Dmitri Millard told us he chooses to work with the older 6.6L Duramax LB7 engines because in his opinion they have more durable injectors than the newer LLY, LBZ, or LMM offerings.

 Considering he has changed his out several times, a bad injector is looking to the cause of his piston failure , and makes a living changing them out I hope he didn't say that  I know from my article that they mis-quoted me a few times in the sake of writing what they wanted too ?

Ya, I know magazines sometimes don't put things exactly right. That's why I gave him the benefit of the doubt :D

I couldn't help but laugh when I read that though.

Is this the same article where he supposedly said the LLY/LBZ/LMM required a gasket on each side to change the injectors that cost $90 ??

LOL! Dimitri doesn't need any help making himself look bad. I have talked to him several times, and this is just me, but I have a hard time taking someone seriously while they are wiping drool off their chin that leaked out while he was trying to tell me that you cannot remove cylinder heads with the engine in the truck. True, its tougher, and takes longer, but its not impossible, which is what he told me. :thumb::rofl:
