Is that what happens when Larry and Mike piss off the weather gods? :rofl:
Makes me think of a thunderstorm I drove through in Indiana last summer, purple in front of me, orange behind me and lightning all over the place. Weather can be like a woman, beautiful, just don't get in it's way when its pissed!
I always thought women were more like wheelbarrows-Hard to handle and easy to upset!!:rofl:
I received this pic from the safety director of the company that operates the rig, and he was amazed that one of his guys would actually be that close. Pretty spooky if you ask me.
As art, what that makes me see:
Mankind thinks they are all bad-ass. We power our world with petroleum, drilling thousands of feet down through pure rock, to fuel cars, trucks, and even flying machines. We are masters of all we survey.
But it is an illusion. A gust of wind can wipe out whole cities when it's a storm. A burst of static electricity can shut down the power grid or kill instantly when it's lightning.
We "masters" are in total fear and awe of such simple forces of nature.

We've done pretty good for only being out of the jungle a couple of hundred years. I give us the same chance of survival as the dynosaurs had. 1 billion dynasaurs ate every bit of vegetation on the earth and then asked WTF.:baby:
