Stock U-joints are very good quality-wise, believe it or not...

The price tag on them will make you shudder though..

I have not seen anything better. Do NOT buy greasable u joints under any circumstances.

I just rebuilt my drive shaft 190.00 CDN,I removed my greaseable U joints and got the shaft balanced
Ill post the spicer part # later tonight,the balance wasnt needed but it was 60.00

I haven't heard of many breaking on our trucks, I can say if you wanna find tough u-joints talk to or look into the rock crawler sites/mags.

Those maniacs HAMMER u-joints with big tires, low pressures, bad angles, killer torque and finally super aggressive gear ratios. Not that billet is better but that animal exists as well in joints.

Did you "wad" up you shaft?

No, its just been 50K or so miles since my last one failed, so I am just thinking ahead. I have already replaced 2 u joints and a carrier bearing, so its just a matter of time.
