I am in the process of putting a Ppe stage 6 kit into my 5 speed. My first question is: can I use the old style p3 sun gear that accepts the smaller 44mm bearing with my new billet output shaft? (I ask because I know the input shaft required me to change c1 hub to accept newer bearing and the output was also supplied with a new style larger bearing) and I replaced the c5 clutches and steels with new "factory" clutches and steels, I ordered the same size (.100") steels that were in the trans but I seem to be getting a clearance reading of .070" and my atsg Manual calls for .090"-.110" is this possibly from the clutches being new and soaked in atf or do I need to order a thinner steel to get my desired clearance?
