im getting ready to build the twin turbo kit for my s10/duramax and I have an s366 and s475 the plan is to have the cover machines to a s480 or buy/trade my 475. my question is how much hp will this set up make I was hoping for 1200ish. is that doable on this set up?

Gonna need lots more info to give you any idea, that’s not enough air for fuel only 1200hp
What are you doing for fuel, engine specs? If you gate the 366 you could likely spray it to 1200.

motor is 020 over haven't gotten to the fuel system yet wanted to get most of the fab work done first just didn't know if that set up would get be there or if I should look in to different options for turbos

Have you considered a large single? A gt55 would be more than enough to get you what your after. Lots of large frame options, might even get there with a larger s400 based unit and a pill or two. Just my thoughts I have no experience with any of the above setups but see allot of dedicated race trucks going that way.

The experience we have with several gt50-based turbos in sled pulling makes me think they would be the ultimate setup as a street/race single or primary in compounds. Several turbo companies are actually fitting t6 s400's with the gt50 turbine wheel. No t4 housing available for a gt50. But a .98 t6 would be fine with the right converter. We have made over 1500 fwhp with a 88mm gt50 as a single fuel only.

A S366/S480 setup CAN get you to 1200 but you're going to need to spend money on good turbos. You may be best looking into a 369/488 setup or as others have said a big single.

I will have my truck on the dyno Tuesday in Denver for DPC2019 so I can let you know what a S480/96/1.10 T6 does with fuel to back it.

Bdsankey let me know and i am definitely not opposed to a big single

I'll let you know. I know there are a few guys running them as a 480/96 t4 with good results but I wanted the extra flow since the truck mainly sled pulls. We're not planning on spraying the house down since I want to keep the truck together.

I fully intend on selling the truck/partout after DPC.

As you can see a 66/480 can make 1200 hp. You do have to spend money on good turbos. Fuel only 200 over injectors.

Dont let dyno numbers fool you. Go off time slips. Way more real world comparisons. Not every dyno reads the same. My s472/s488 should be a "True" 1200hp set up.

^^^^ couldn’t agree more time slips don’t lie. I’ve gone 7.0 at 100 in the 1/8th 6800lbs and I don’t believe I’m 4 digits.

I haven’t ran a quarter yet and I know for certain it will back half better than the front. I’ve gone 6.74@106. Running it through the DD calculator that puts it around 1100 hp. That’s at 7200 lbs. For more of a race truck I have a triple setup going together that I hope to go into the 5’s in and could drive it around regularly if you wanted to. My plans are to keep a/c on it for that purpose. What’s the OP end time expectations? What will be your weight etc! The package is what’s most important and not get huge up on a certain sized anything.
