So gonna upgrade to twins on the truck I have the spare time over the winter to do it. Currently running a 475 single going to drop to a 366 and and got my hands on a 475/88/1.32 t6 real cheap how will that go over the 366? This will be my first twin setup so still figuring it all out

It will work, but I am not sure if the 1.32 housing will be to loose with the 88mm wheel. People with the 96mm wheels use the 1.32 and say it works great, but I am thinking on maybe using a 1.10 t6 on mine with the 96mm wheel. It will work, but I am not sure how well.

I think the "88mm" wheel he is talking about is the exducer on the turbine which is really a 96mm inducer on the turbine. If so, and your HP goals aren't too crazy, then it will work

If it we're me and your throwing a 366 in the valley put your money towards an s480 and call it a day or try and trade the turbo your getting for 1. Proven good setup!

I'm just see if it will work for the time being until I decide on what I actually want to run and for the mock up

You really need a larger primary. Or at least a larger turbine wheel in the primary. I'd try to sell that turbo you have and find something like an s483/96/1.32
Might as well do it right the first time. :thumb:

yeah I know just when a turbo is givin to ya cant pass it up and a 480 will set me back 1200. for now im just gonna run it and see how it is then when I got the extra bucks ill bolt a 483 on it. at least they verified it was a 96mm that makes it a little better haha

the 475 will be fine for the time being. you can still build everything to fit like you want it and when its time to ditch it, a 480 will drop right in.

I may be wrong, but cant you get them machined? mark from Danville would know

Yup but wait time sucks when you drive/use your truck a lot.

All you have to buy is the wheel, the cover and back plate will need machining and that's it. It was also suggested to me to have the turbo rebalanced as well but not required
