Excuse my ignorance, but Im curious as to why you run compunds with a roots setup. I would have thought running twins in parallel with the roots being fed off of them would have been more than enough air. Is there a reason for that??

Build looks good and sounds good. Cant wait to see it run :thumb::D

he doesnt want any turbo lag from those big turbos- the roots blower gets bypassed once they are spooled

Ya, the supercharger is just the pre-spool boost, so the the big top turbo lights its not laggin, then the bottom turbo takes over compounding with the top turbo......massive boost, no lag..........

How do you bypass the blower?? I still dont understand how thats done...

I do understand that. However, the question in my mind is that is there more benift from running a big compund setup vs running a big screw that lights off two massive chargers?? Seems that your volume of air would be far higher in that application if you running two large chargers instead of one small, one large. Pressures may not be as high but volume will be higher.

Correct me if Im wrong, but thats how Im seeing it.

Mika, not trying to tear down what you've done, I think its friggin awesome. These are just questions I have that I dont know the answer to.

Thanks

I was wondering the same thing. My thoughts on the best set-up is 2 big single turbs and a single blower feeding them.

he is using a blowoff valve or a wastegate to do this- i am not sure which one
