It was pretty funny the first time he put it on the big tune when we test drove it. Matt was rolling along at about 45 to 50 and laid into it pretty good. As soon as the big turbo started coming up on boost, he got out of it really quick and said, "Whoa!"

I asked him, "What?"

He said, "You didn't feel that?"

I said, "No."

He said, "It started fish tailing a little."

:D

All I can say is josh is a good friend and a great mechanic. And yes it got a little sideways, boost had the 60# guage pegged. We need the van running and hit the track, and your dad as well.

I will say that I will never ever build another set of twins that are routed like these. Everything is way too tight. I wanted to work around the ProFab EGR delete pipe, but I should have crossed over it and and ran the cold pipe in front of it instead of behind it. It would have let me move the turbo a little closer to the motor. I also tried to push the turbo back a little to give a little more room for the air filter, which didn't really cause too many problems other than it was a little tight for the coolant tank. I used the biggest 5" inlet filter I could find. I'm sure there are bigger ones out there, but out of AFE, K&N, S&B, etc., I couldn't find a bigger one. The filter is pretty big (much bigger than what I've seen used with most twin kits).

Where do you get your piping from josh if you don't mind me asking? I know I won't be doing it any time soon now that I've got to build my motor but when the time comes.

Also Matt, how is the spool up with the 72 and 480 together?

It spools pretty quick, cuz the big charger is not to big
I can always increase the wheel and cover later if wanted. It comes in on the race tune around 1700 rpm from a 20mph roll, 60 # guage wrapped out. Tow tune hit 46 #. Power braking on the race tune it came in around 1800-1900.
