Twin Turbo Install Factory Filter Delete

I am just about complete installing my twin turbo kit (S475 over stock). During the install I chose to delete my OEM fuel filter, I could have kept it but it would have been wayyyy to cluttered in their for my liking. I am running a Kennedy lift pump, which does not include a filter.

I was thinking I would install a filter on the frame rail, using one of those NAPA filter heads and NAPA filters. Has anyone done this?

Also, I am concerned about bleeding the system. I could add some kind of a bleeder onto the rubber line which used to go to the fuel filter which I plumbed in a loop.

Just looking to see if anyone else has done this and how they went about it. Thanks for the help.

I didnt run mine to the frame but used a simple L bracket and bolted it behind the front bumper in front of the passanger tire. Just ran more fuel line and wallah! Holes were already there :D

not really answering your question but other options are nice too...

good luck

Well that does not directly answer my question I guess, but I like the idea very much. Now if I understood you correctly, you re-mounted the OEM filter in this location?

yes sir just used adapters and ran additional line to the mounting location. used the stock fuel filter head with no modifications and it fits right in.

the wheel well liner is towards the top of the pic. little dirty but i think you can get the idea.

its not a perfect solution but it is an option and its cheap/easy.

I'm liking it! Plus is an easy fix, and fast. I wanna get the ol' girl back on the road, and don't feel like having to mess around getting new filter head/filters/fittings etc. Thanks again for the idea.
