Most twins are 3" hot pipe and 3.5" cold pipe. As far as angles it would depend on how you lay them out, but damn near everything you would need can come from mandrel-bends.com, racepartssolutions.com, or extremepsi.com. Extreme PSI is more geared towards imports, but just outside of Philly so you could always drive there to pick stuff up (pretty sure you're in maryland) They also have most everything you should need.

What size turbos are you planning on useing?

Sounds like the same setup I'm planning on running.

From the research I've done , 3" SS hot pipe, 3.5" MS cold pipes, T6 1.32 A/R turbo. Not sure yet how I plan on laying them out so I can't really help you on what angles you are going to need.

I did the opposite...3.5" hot pipe and 3" cold pipe.

1.32 A/R housing is the same though.

Basically all I did was get a bunch of 45* bends and one 180*. All of it was from racepartsolutions.com. Good prices and nothing really took much longer than a couple days to get to me.

like 2 or 3 exhaust. 2 cold pipe. and 2 for the charge pipe (Intercooler to intake manifold). I forgot to mention I used 3" for the charge pipe as well.

O and then the 5" downpipe i used like 3 90* bends and a a foot of striaght. That seemed to work out really well for me

the main difference between building twins on an LB7 vs. LLY vs. LBZ is the pipe that goes from the intercooler into the engine.

3" is fine for the hot pipe. 3" or 3.5" is fine for the cold pipe. Intercooler pipe, 2.5" or 3" is fine IMO.

You dont need SS for the hot pipe. "people say" ohhh its gonna crack you cant do that. But MPI and everyone else uses mild steel or aluminized steel for the twin hot pipes and whens the last time you have heard of any twins cracking hot pipes?? ;) :)

Thanks ben. What degree bends did you use and would it make a difference in pipe size from using a s366 over a stocker?

IMO, no, 3" should still be fine...but its up to you. It also depends what size v-band outlet the S366 is.

mandrel-bends.com has everything you need. Get the tightest 180* bend they have and go from there. The rest of the bends/angles depends on your own design and where you mount the big turbo...

the 3.5" 180* bend might have too big a radius to fit easily between the S366 and the firewall/cowl. The tightest 180* they have in 3.5" dia has a 5" CL radius. The 3" 180* bend they have is a 4" CLR.

Did you look at my twins build thread? There are quite a few pictures in there that should help out.

I talked to donny last Monday and the thing with donny is I'm gonna do the assembly I can't afford for him to do it that is the only snag I have the money for everything else I'm just on vacation that's y I haven't called you. And I found a s366 so if u can get me a price on a s480 that's fine.
