Looks like they supply 1/2" npt oil drain flanges, wonder if that is the size they use on the dmax applications? Ref. page 43

Edit looks like the supply line is .25" or even .18" ??????

I have a question chad, does turbonetics use a 1/2" return line on all turbo they sell for the dmax application?

Do they use a 1/4" supply line for all turbos for the dmax application or only on ball bearing?

Funny that they don't have a Dmax turbo listed in the catalog or on their website. Only been 2-3 years that the betas went out.

1/2 npt drain flanges, and 1/8 npt or 1/4 npt on oil supply lines depending on which turbo it is.

the return line from the turbo needs to be 5/8 line.

Okay thank you. Now I have more questions. Why does the return line need to be 5/8" if the flanges are 1/2"?

Also, is doing a feed line in -6 (3/8") overkill?

Thanks.

Thanks.

It think it would reduce the downstream pressure by going up to a 5/8" line.

overkill is better than under:D

No doubt Simon. So may I ask why not just use a flange that uses 5/8" fittings instead of 1/2"? I guess wouldn't using 5/8" the whole way be better?
