Thinking about purchasing the turbo to IC pipe, 80-100 bucks I think. Will there be any benefit to my HP levels and stock turbo? I.e. I'm thinking I'm about max boost on stock turbo, 32psi -34 tops so the air has to already be hot and crappy. I think making the pipe bigger 2.5 LBZ to 3 inch will drop the restriction a tad, maybe make things better?
Also, anyone thing a intake sock will restrict air flow? I'm thinking a filter is preforated to creat more surface area. The sock is solid and thus give less surface area? Or, its so porus that it only stops big debris and won't effect air flow.
Your thoughs please.

Bigger IC can't hurt. Not sure how much of a cost benefit there is from running one vs what kind of gains you'll see from it. Looks like you got the goods on your truck, so I dont see why it wouldn't help.

As far as the sock, there wont be much restriction from running it. Thats what keeps the big stuff (leaves, boulders, small children) from getting caught in the filter folds. Wish I had one on mine. Pain to get all that junk out.
