Does anyone make a 3" turbo that will fit on a T3 pedestal? I want something that is comparable to the A5K, just with a 3" inlet.

you want a 3 in inducer?

Sitting a turbo that big on a T3 ped will choke it.

I may have a good option for you if you dont mind going to a T4

Yes, looking for a 3" inducer. The only reason I have for not wanting a t4 pedestal is $$$.

I should note that the one in the link I posted is a 72 mm, but I can make it from a 74mm as well to be at the 3.0 mark

It's not that I particularly need a 3" inducer, just want a turbo that flows a bit more than the A5K and not loose much of it's low rpm spoolability.

The truck we installed that on runs awesome. I dont like to toot but that truck is a dream to drive. He is running a small cam from SoCal and a PPE tuner. The boost gauge will swing around like no body's business, he towes his 30 foot camper in OD with decent temps (less then 1400 all the time) and little to no smoke.

I would really look into going T4 John. I can honestly say I am suprised at how well my GT4202 would spool on the street. It might have something to do with my cam. The trouble with T3 is your never going to be able to make good power in the upper rpm band because it with simply choke out because of the CFM needed. I just used a PPE pedistal and downpipe. Made my on spacers and stuff. FWIW you might want to get in touch with ATS. I have seen an A6K in the flesh. S400 with 3" in and out. Very nice peice. The are supposedly casting up a new T4 pedistal for it. Not sure if that is ready yet. With Wade gone it is very hard to get a straight answer from ATS.

I am running a stock cam and when I shift into 4th, it pulls the motor down well below 3000 rpm. I would rather not at this time run headers, a big cam and all the other stuff to support big rpm power to keep the charger lit at the end of the track during the spin out.

Snuffing out the charger at the end of the track every time isn't an option, it usually barks the turbo pretty good.

John is right, we had one on display at our dyno event and it is a very nice setup and yes it uses a T4 flange. The kit is the same as the A5k except for the pedastal and charger. Can't wait to see how these chargers work...

John wire up a torque converter switch and unlock the converter at the end of the pull....It works very well:D

Right now that won't help because running a A5K I can spin out in 4th gear without a problem. However with a bigger turbo, I can see that helping out big time. Thanks for the suggestion.
