I have been working on my 04 LB7 for a couple of weeks now. I had to rebuild the transfer case and ever since I put it back in the turbo just is'nt quite right. It does'nt want to spool up and when it finally does it's building 3-4lbs less than it was before. I have checked for holes and leaks in all of my intercooler boots and tubes and have not found anything. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

It was running fine when I pulled it into the shop. I dont think it is a tuning issue but I could be wrong.

those boots and stuff can seem tight when they are not. really crank them down. No shop towels etc. anywhere in the system, egr stuck? wastegate not seating? clutch not holding? good luck

The boots are on as tight as we could get them. The wastegate is opening and closing just fine. We don't know how to tell if the waste gate is not seating properly. And he doesn't have a EGR.

He told me the other day that it he eased into it, it would spool faster. So we have been thinking maybe to much fuel on the bottom and its choking out the turbo.

Have you tried the stock tune? If it works normal then you can start narrowing it down to tuning.

i had a slow spooling issue with my 01 and it was a dirty maf sensor. Clean it and see if that helps. i would do this before changing tunes just yet; especially if it ran okay before
