Use a swivel socket for pedestal. If you've had the uppipes off before you should be able to get them off easier this time. Always antiseize them when you have them out. I welded a ratchet to a piece of round stock and a half inch drive socket to get some leverage on it.

Welding a piece of pipe on is a good idea I'm gonna try it cause I tightened em down pretty good...anybody remember the size or the pedestal bolts?

The best tip I can offer is to buy a few extra of each nut and washer you may drop into the valley (abyss). It will save you TONS of time not having to search for them..

Turbo to pedestal, oil drain lines etc..

PB Blaster does help... i used Acetone/ATF 50/50 mix and it made a drastic difference, plus its cheap to make. Screw welding anything on anything, go to Sears buy this wrench as it will give you all the leverage to break all the the bolts loose. IIRC it is 17" long and 1/2 inch

Delete the egr if you havent already made it a breeze last time I removed my turbo, made tons of room to work. I was in the same boat as you oil was leaking from the return line. Also coat everything in anti seeze, so you dont have to bust your knuckles up trying to get the bolts loose again.
