LB7: Turbo question

Where does everybody but there turbo wheels and housings ? Looking to up grade my 472 to a billet 80 with a 87 housing! Any recommendation on where to go?

I got 1 of my 87mm turbines and 1.0 housings from Danville. Got my others from Industrial injection, since they're local to me. Any certified Borg Warner dealer can get you what you need though.

If you are upgrading both the intake and exhaust side of the charger wouldn't it be cheaper to sell the current turbo and just purchase the 80 you want? Just thinking it would be easier to sell the complete turbo rather than parts and pieces.

OP, Dont forget you should have a turbo balanced when you change the compressor/turbine wheel.

Easier yes, Likely not more cost effective though. The pieces will be cheaper than a billet 80/87. this turbos brand new with almost no miles on it but there isn't much Market for a 83 turbine. Was just inquiring as to where people bought them that's all! Turbo being re balanced is a must!!:thumb:
