how much boost are you running Larry ? i have never blown one off my charger even @ 60 psi . dont know how the compressor outlet looks on the 42 magnum compared to mine though ?

the problem was the fact the nipple I have doesn't have a big enough ridge to hold the clamp on and it also has too much taper so the hose just didn't fit correctly.

gotcha........... my hose fits over the actual compressor outlet . that should work great.

Not sure on the boost, every time it goes above 40 it has blown off. Saw 46 once saturday then boom

DAMN!! Your gonna play hell removing a hose from that if you ever have to. At least theres no more hose poppin issues though.

edit: Will the hose really bite onto it?? Make it hard to remove??
