I am getting my HTT turbo installed today and I am sitting on the edge of my seat here waiting for the call that it is done!!

I will update later on tonight when it is done my first impressions of it.

Thats a great turbo. Pat made some really big numbers with one and I know of a couple of trucks that have them. Congrats and have fun.

Ok took the truck out for a spin and all I can say is wow. There is a turbo under my hood now. I didn't drive it enough to get a full good impression but I am only building 30psi of boost in 5th gear at 70mph at full throttle.

How do I adjust the wastegate to get me up to approx 45psi of boost?

Cranking the gate shut will only produce about 42PSI normally.

IIRC, it only made 38PSI when we ran 11.77 @ 114 to break the 11 second Fuel-Only barrier with it.

May as well add to this thread but I am getting a P0238 which is

"Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor A Circuit High" EPA ($10) "Powertrain Control Module (PCM)"

What is the cause of this? I have my overboost set to 100psi so I know it is not that.

I get this code from time to time. Seems to only do it if I go from idle/zero throttle to WFO.

Will just selecting "not reported" not allow it to trigger the MIL?

in the buckeye state
set the following dtc test enablers to (X. do not repport)
p0234
p0236
p0237
p0238

and the same ones on the dtc mill enablers to NO mill

that should take care of the problem ;)
