I just got a bci and it came with the turbo horn on the instructions it says its easier to put it on if you take the ac compressor off. But I heard if you take it off you also have to take it somewhere to get the refrigerant recycled. And when you put it together again you have to pressure vacume all the crap out. Just wondering how people did there turbo horn and if taking the compressor off is that much easier???

just pull the belt, then unbolt the 4 bolts holding the compressor and roll it over upside down to the passenger side without unhooking anything. That's how most people get it out of the way. Unless i'm misunderstanding what you are working on?

Oh yeah I pull my motor and leave it hooked up.To me it's voodoo to recharge the air, it just never seams quite right after you hook it all back up and charge it.

then someone aint doin it right lmao! fresh reciever/dryer and orifice tube made a nice difference in mine after all these years.

Op, just do like Russ said and yank the 4 bolts. much easier. just be sure to NOT lay it ontop of the battery so you dont go accidently shootin sparks.

its all on how well someone did the job Ben. doing a/c is like setting up gears, there is kind of an art to it.
