Current setup on my lly truck is twin turbo (s480 over stock), dual fueled etc etc. debating removing the setup and going a different route as I'm not wanting to be nickeled and dimed later refreshing the tran etc. I'm gonna leave my 40% injectors and modded cp3 in the truck. Really debating just going to a lb7 turbo with batmo wheel, just cause I love how my buddies sounds/tows, and to cut out my drive pressure in hopes of a lil better economy. Anyone know what it takes to make the lly accept the lb7 charger? Obviously ic pipes, down pipe, intake, but what about oil lines, coolant and y bridge?

I still have my lly charger but hate how the power comes in slowly compared to the fixed geometry. Regardless if I go back to the lly charger ill still have to buy a down pipe, intake etc. rather go lb7 just feels stouter and love the lb7 sound

That would be a horrible idea go to a single billet 66. switching to the ihi is going to require alot of work for nothing comp wheel is smaller then the lly is. You can tone the vains down to make it hiss less and rumble more but if you want the lb7 sound do a good single like a 66.

Also ybridge would have to change and all the normal stuff

After I switched from my stock lly charger to a built S363 from fleece I don't think I ever wanna go back to a variable charger.. It's awesome when it lights.. Keep in mind it is close to stock size so don't go backwards to stock.. Move up with a fixed charger.

Well I had a 68mm cheetah setup prior to my built motor and twins etc. just like how the power of a fixed charger comes in all at once, this vvt crap comes in gradually and has crazy drive pressures. I've been looking at s366 kits etc but not sure what will be the best route. Want to keep my whistle thsts Forsure, and not spend a ton of money like I have in my twins

Gonna make a stupid comment..... When y'all refer to the single 66, is that the s366 in ur sig? Haven't read much up on them yet to find out info nor do I know a lot about fixed chargers. Half debated to go back to my vvt and pay some stuff off from my motor build, then get something later. Idk honestly confused at what I wanna do.

I know everything! Going to a lb7 charger is like taking 3 steps back.... Bottom line is get that idea out of your head! You said you like your whistly whistle, right? Precision turbos offers a bad ass 67mm turbo which will whoop the crap out of them crappy Borg 66mm chargers day and night! (Trent sells them) You can also chose to become a mans man and get a nice Garrett charger, gt4202r(74.7mm) and get an even bigger rush of adrenaline when it lights(chubby instigator). Ofcourse, none of those chargers are cheap but you get what you pay for;)

don't listen to no one else:D

I really like my 66mm danville billet, what about trying one of theirs or that 72mm vgt they have, havent been around alot of fix turbos, ,y 66mm vgt lights pretty fast and sounds awesome, the whistle is startling when I fist drove it specially with the pass window down.

^ get this guy a microphone ^ a gt4202 would be nice.. What mm is that? Kinda price they usually run? I need a big charger to put on top of my fleece s363.. Shooting for 800 ponys on fuel only.

You can make 800 with the 4202 by itself. Sell that Borg and put it towards a real turbo. Do you have the fuel to put down 800hp?
