2007 classic body style lbz with 125k miles
p003a and p2563 i believe they are keep coming up, i will sometimes drive it for days with no codes, and other days it will come back as soon as i start it.
well i also notice that my elevated idle isnt quite the full spool up.
pulled the vane sensor, cleaned it, and noticed the vanes were very very gooey looking.. sprayed with some pb blaster equivalent.
didnt do anything different..
pulled the solenoid out, and cleaned.
noticed it makes a high pitch buzz and almost a bubbly noise when activated..and the end of the plunger will move in and out (basically moves in flush with the tip)
so i hooked up efi live and found that turbo vane position is 77% just sitting at idle.. so i manually try to shift to 0%, turbo vane goes to 74.7%
so i try for 100% and it goes back to 77%.
has anyone had similar problems or know what to do next? maybe a bad solenoid? or bad vane position? stuck vanes?
any answers or questions would be great!
