Tuning question

When modding a race tune, beside bumping up fuel, timing and pulse what else needs to be ramped up? Only doing in small increments/%'s.

OK maybe some Hint's??
Stock motor but running 10.3/10.4 in the 1000'. Running the 8th in 8.0/8.1. Would like to get time down to 7.8/7.9 in the 8th. Where would I start looking?

Well make sure your timing max table allows for the increase in your main timing table

maf max inj quant is up to par

maf tables

if u have a vvt vane posistions

tbiq and base tq tables

max speed and tire size

ect tables

pilot inj tables

basically add pw and timing and you have power though

Thx I will look at these. I have top end. But would this be the same for adding power thru the middle of the power band? Say from the 330 mark to the 8th?

There is far more to getting a good 1/8th mile than power/tuning , more than likely you are experiencing other issue's , a log of a 1/4 mile run would be a lot more useful in helping .
