Kansas when I am home
I recently test drove a truck that was "TUNED BY TIMMY" and I thought the tune was pretty rough. Any way after speaking with a friend he has a friend that has been screwed by this tim guy.

Does anyone know how to reach this Tim guy? This guy claims Tim showed up tuned his truck left the truck running like shit and then diapered all the sudden. Says the umber he gave him to call is no good and has been disconnected. This guys Lmm is running terrible I guess and is in need of nw tuning but not after giving this guy a piece of his mind.

The guy who owned the truck I test drove knows Tim but I don't want to get him involved as I think they are friends, which is fine I just know I wouldn't want someone dragging me into something like this.

I just want to help this guy out

I got his cell phone and he has FB. Tell your buddy to get in line. He gave me a good ****ing and I've given him a piece of my mind. I just wasted my breath. Tell your buddy to cut his losses and call rob or kory and get it done right. Tim is as trashy as his tuning. Text me if you want more info. 785-817-1459.

Just FYI, he locks his ecms so that they cannot be tuned over using anything and I mean anything... Efi or factory stuff will not flash over... I just had to send one to him last week to get flashed back to stock...

That sucks to hear Jordan, I hope you guys are able to get it working. I haven't heard anything good about his tuning.

You can close the thread yourself being you started it.

I didn't have any problems. Pulled his file and replaced it with robs.

Hmmm... Maybe he just thought he needed to lock this one that day. Way he talked I thought he locked all of em..

It may have to do with the year of the truck. The LB7 & LLY ECMs actually get locked with a different key, so anything other than his programmer will not be able to unlock it, but I BELIEVE the LBZ & LMM ECMs can't be locked in that manner and instead are 'patched' to prevent any reading, but you can still overwrite what's on there even if it's 'locked'.
