I found what I thought was the loss of prime :thumb: If you unplug the regulator it fires up instantly :thumb:
plug in in it runs normal :thumb: Will NOT start with the regulator pluged in though
I have 2 functioning regulators & it's the same thing on both

Am I correct in guessing that you had to extend the wiring when you moved the pump?

If the control circuit (the yellow wire) gets shorted to ground it will clamp down the regulator and create a situation much like what you have going on.

IIRC there are 2 plugs that are the same. One is the "Low Coolant" and the other is the FPR (IIRC) reversing the 2 plugs will cause a no start issue. There was someone with a similar issue and it turned out to be that the plugs were reversed during the replacing the headgaskets.

Did not have to extend anything except the return lines.
After logging my reg goes from 100% to 19% and will not start. As soon as it's unplugged it goes to 100% and starts. I plug it back in & it drops to 34% & idles pretty good

I do know the plugs are not switched :D

have you tried a stock tune?

can you check the regulator voltage during issue and non issue start up. There is 2 PIDs to use....

Here is a log file. As long as the reg is bouncing
between 19 & 100% it will NOT start. As soon as I unplug it it fires & you can
see when I plug it back in while running the reg percentage goes down to around
34% & it idles ok.

Hmmmmmm. That's an interesting one, I wonder if it is freaking out about frp current or fuel flow. I tend to think it isn't a wiring issue because it acts normal when you plug it back in. I would probably start with the top few boxes on the b1010 but I'm no expert tuner by any means.

That would make more sense than pretty much anything else. It would try to raise frp current, possibly to to point of not making enough to fire.

I am really curious to see how that pump works out for you.
