tune 60 hp injectors.

I have a buddy that just put 60 hp injectors in his lb7, what is the % would be on them? His tune now is a 3250 us tune, Is that to much us for 60 hp?

That should be roughly a 20 over injector. 3250 is probably more than his CP3 can hold with them. I would back it down to 2800 and see how it holds rail and go from there.

I tuned a set of "60 hp" industrial tips once. What a pain in the neck. It was hard to get them to cooperate in the smoke department. I ended up taking the pilot pulse down almost like I was working with exergy 60 overs to get the "knock" out.

And the next set from them will run like a stock set does, hence why I won't recommend them to anybody. First set of oversized nozzles I tuned was a set of II, and what a PITA that was to learn on. Since then I have done a few sets of EXERGYS, and they are a walk in the park. Having a flow sheet makes all the difference, and takes all the guess work out.

Ya there II I have to waite to try to tune them, he had one a -6.25 on balance rate and was smoking at idle. So he is pulling it out.

Sounds like II. I know the 1st truck I did made it about 20k miles before they had maxxed out the balance rates(-7 up to +15). To many problems with industrial for me to use them or recommend them.
