In the past, when camping with a dodge friend, we used to open his water drain and fill a cup with fuel to get a campfire started. This trip, I tried my truck. I opened the fuel thumb screw on the bottom of the filter and nothing came out. As a matter of fact, I completely pulled the screw out and nothing came out. I drove the truck that day a couple hours ago. Is this normal? I think not, but could be wrong.

The drain is on the bottom of the fuel filter. Why wouldn't it just run out? My last 3 power jokes and friends dodge just drains the water/fuel out when you open the screw. How does this drain work if water is at the bottom of the filter and you open it and nothing comes out? When you pump the prime button, is there some type of little tube that sucks from the bottom where the water is? What gives?
