Ok guys, I need some help an this truck has been kicking my butt. The truck was down for about 6-8 months due to pulling season was over and was redoing everything. Finally got it running, with over an hour of idle time. Decided to take it for a ride just down the road. Truck dies and does not restart but cranks. Pull it back to my house and mess with it and finally find the problem. The crank positioning sensor wire it the manifold and burnt through enough to I guess short it out. Cut all the wires and spliced them back together and put a new crank sensor in. Now I'm having the same problem. It cranks for about 5 seconds then stops. So I tested the connectors as the crank and can sensor and have no power. Started going through the rest of the wiring harness to see if I could find anything and everything looks ok. No fuses blown or anything like that, checked all connections on the hole motor and everything is fine. I'm wondering if the ECM is fried now? Any way to check? Any sort of advise will be appreciated.
Thanks
Adam

Yea get all different code every single time. I don't know it's acting weird. Never got a crank sensor code.

Wiggle the 2 big connectors on the drivers valve cover while someone cranks on it. May have a bad connection there. A zapped ecm wouldn't be out of the question though if crank sensor wires shorted to ground

Yea I wiggled the bail connectors and nothing. I'm going to run up and down the harness with a meter and check for power in different areas. If I don't have power it's pretty safe to say the ECM is done?
