Well I changed my glow plug module since it was calling out it's codes and it is something that is supposed to be quick and simple. I followed the directions, disconnect both negative battery cables, then the 2 connectors on the module itself and finally unbolt it. Install, just the opposite. Now I go in to start the truck and it fires but won't run. I have had this problem before and I found a blown fuse for the ecm. Well I changed it and still the same thing. I hooked up the EFI and tried to read the ECM, NOPE. It tells me that it has lost communication with the ecm, check all cables. Disconnected the negative cables again and let it sit for a while came back and still the same thing. I am lost, how could I check to see if the ecm got fried (don't know how, but it is my luck)? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Do you have a remote start? It could be a loose wire and not getting a good voltage reading from the GM anti-theft. We had this happen once. It wiggled a few wires under the dash and it started right up. The connections were horrid that the installed used.

Yeah I have one, I will go give them a wiggle, but I have not touched anything under the dash for who knows how long. Well that didn't help either. I have noticed that after trying to start it and going back to off position the display will show random letters, or symbols in it. There hasn't been anything the same displayed in there, or even in the same location. You think that I fried the ecm?
