well, i was messing around with the truck at the dunes on some steep hills and deep sand and on one of the hills which was really steep; the truck stalled when i had it to the wood in full spool:D in 4x4. anyways the truck started right up, but the trans shifted a little firm for a few miles after i left the park. anyways, would anybody like to guess as to what happened?

No idea. Did it throw any codes? Did you accidentally bump the key to the off position?

no....not a fuel issue. the converter was locked with the wheels spinning, but you let off so fast (and the wheels stopped instantly) that it caught the TCM by surprise and the converter didnt have enough time to unlock...so when the wheels suddenly stopped spinning, the engine did too, which stalled it. 110% guarantee thats what happened.

X2. I have seen the same thing happen at the end of a sled pull.

Thats what happens at the end of sled pulls if you do not get it into neutral when the sled stops you.
