LLY: truck is acting wierd

ok a buddie of mine replaced head gaskets on his truck and got it about back together and he brought it to me to finish. so I checked over his work and it all checked fine. so after I get it back together the truck was hard to crank. in the morning it would crank but after it run a while it wouldn't at all unless you re primed the filter. so we rebuilt the filter head and the o rings was in bad shape but it still didn't help. so we logged it and the cp3 was real weak its commanding 23k and only getting 15 at 160mpa. so we installed a 10mm stoker pump and still no better and now its acting like it has a bad miss to it. iam waiting for my computer to charge so I can log it again what eles could I do ?

New injectors or used? Might have 1 returning to much fuel causing a low rail pressure condition.

Sounds likes return rates on injectors. Re check all the high pressure lines and make sure none of them are leaking any fuel.

ok no codes got it to run smooth now but still having a leak down issue. you have to prime it every time before you go to crank it. if its running and shut it off it will fire right back but turn over for a good 5 to 10 sec before it will fire

Check the return rates on the Inj, sounds like one or more are returning too much fuel.

how do you check the return rates? ive never done that ?
