Truck got Broke in to!!!!!

F'in thieves, there is nothing worse in my mind and i hope they catch those worthless bastards.

they busted the lock on the passeger side and stole my ipod. thats the only damage. all this in my works parking lot with people everywhere. sneaky bastards

but all this for one question. when i replace my passenger door handle can i replace it with a rear door handle so that it no longer has a lock assembly in it? will this work or will the lock rods not work the same as the rear?

Itll work - I think in 04 or 05 they started with keyhold on drivers side only. You can even do it on the drivers door if you want.

they do have cameras but they are too far away to get a plate number. but from the look of the guys that did it (a guy at work say my car alarm going off and saw a guy with dreds in my front seat and new it wasnt me, ran after them, probably why they only got my ipod) i bet that the vehicle they were driving was theirs anyway.

i watched the video at work and they were into my truck in under 10 seconds, they also broke into 2 other superdutys in the parking lot before mine and my alarm was the only one that went off.

i guess it time to get a car alarm with remote start

Soryy about that Travis, Some scumbags stole a shitload of tools out of the back of my truck a couple of weeks ago. Dumbasses left a new Cordless drill and some other pawnable stuff. Must have had their hands full. Partially my fault for leaving it unlocked.
