Hello all... been awhile..

Well been through this issue many times (many times to the dealer). Truck seem hard to start after running around (stopping for a while then restarting). Today, it did it again.... cranked like 10 sec then started, backed up then died. Would not start again. Pumped on the pump 20x... and no start. PISSED OFF AGAIN!!! Waited a bit, cranked it for 5 sec and it started. Truck smokes white to white/blueish when I idle.

Truck is not reliable!!!!

Any thoughts? Think it might be the injectors going and the whole hot fuel return (google answer).

Sounds like injectors. Know anybody with a Tech 2 or Efi Live? They could check balance rates and cp3 pressure. You might want to check it hot if that's the only time it pulls the no start trick on you.

Balance rates won't tell you for sure if an injector is returning too much, but if the balance rate is out, it's a pretty good indication the injectors are not doing so well. How many miles on the truck, and have you had the injectors replaced before?

Doug I sent you a PM. Pat can check your balance rates for you.

The shop is another 3 miles from where it used to be or you can come to the house. We can also pick Robert's brain if we have to
