Do you guy's have any advice for me. I want to run my truck in May just to see how it runs. Do I use 4x4 or leave it in 2wd? What gear should I start in ? etc, etc . I'm mainly trying to see how fast it is but I think my buddy wants to put his 6.7 against me:rofl:. I've never raced @ a track so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks:thumb:

Lower the torsion bars all the way. Drop the front tire pressure to somewhere around 30-35 and rear to 25-30, clamp the front of the rear springs. Remove any that isn't bolted down (and some stuff that is if you want to get more serious). Try to have around 1/4 tank of fuel when you go. Make sure you don't have anything in the bed, and make sure there isn't a bunch of mud under the truck that will fall onto the track when you launch. At first, try launching at around 1800 RPM and go up in 100 RPM increments until your 60' times start to suffer.

Good luck, and let us know how you do.

Tbars lowered to stops (mark bolts so you get them back in same height)
make spring clamps and clamp front half of rear springs
lower tire pressures (exactly what depends on tire size and type)
4x4
tow/haul on
drive around waterbox

trip first stage light
start boosting up
creep into 2nd stage light as you are boosting up,
finish boosting to ~2000rpm

Concentrate only on your half of the tree (tough to do)
Leave on second yellow, dont look back
Keep on the gofast pedal thru the lights
if electric Tcase, hit 2wd button before end of track
