So I have a couple questions
1. What torque converter do you guys recommend for a daily driver and weekend tow truck with hopes of approx 500 rwhp?

2. Do you think that a new torque converter combined with a transgo junior can hold 500 rwhp without breaking the transmission?

any light you guys can shed on this issue would be great for me thanks.

M L Precision converter. Ive had mine for over two years with no problems and awesome performance, whether its daily driving, raceing or towing 10,000 #'s

Call Mike and talk to him, he wont steer you wrong.

:thumb:, nothing wrong with a SC 1056 either

I liked the old 1056 , but word on the street is they tightened it up and its closer to a 1054 which wasnt a good move IMOP :( , Thats why i used the ML for the first time , and now Precision is all i use or recommend, unless some one specifies a Suncoast converter , they are still good converters I just prefer the "feel" of the precision .

I've put 4 1056s in in the last two months and all did great and felt the same as the others I've installed in the past IMHO. Not Used a Mike L precision but he's a great guy (helped me today actually) and I wouldn't hesitate a second on something he recommends.
1056 and a sc stage III gets my vote.

I went from an SC3 w/ 1056 to an SC4 w/ 1057 and the few times I tow make me want my old setup back. My truck feels better on the race tune but I tow more than I race now.

No experience with the MLs here.
